It’s often not until you’re actually here that you realise just how BIG Australia actually is, and how much there is to see and do… sometimes you just need a little bit more time!

If you’d rather spend more time on the road and go further, you can now top-up your Whimit Travel Pass and get up to an extra 10 days of unlimited travel on Australia’s largest coach network!

Depending on the length of time on your original Whimit Travel Pass, you’ll be able to choose from topping up 1, 3, 5 or 10 Whimit Days.

There are two kinds of Whimit Travel Passes to choose from, depending on your travel plans — National and East Coast.

Our National Whimit Passes give you unlimited access to Australia’s largest coach network — travelling on any route and in any direction — for your chosen amount of time. Think of it as your ultimate way to see Australia's reefs and rainforests, outback and wildlife — or both!

The East Coast Whimit Passes allow unlimited travel along the East Coast on any of our services between Melbourne and Cairns, back and forth in any direction, for as many consecutive days as purchased.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I top up my travel pass?

Easy! Simply log in to Manage Booking with your booking number and PIN and click the “Extend Pass” button. You can also ring our Call Centre on 1300 473 946.

How long can I extend my pass for?

It depends on the type of Whimit Pass you purchased to begin with. An extra 1 or 3 days are available on all Whimit Travel Passes; 5 extra days on passes of 15 Days or more; and 10 extra days on passes of 30 Days or more.

How much does it cost to top up my pass?

1 Whimit Day is $39, 3 days is $109, 5 days is $175, and 10 days is $279. Note that you will only be able to choose from select top-up options available for purchase depending on the length of your original Whimit Travel Pass.

Can I top up my pass multiple times?

Yep, you sure can! You can purchase multiple top-ups on your Whimit Travel Pass.

Can I top up my pass if it’s already expired?

Of course, no worries! But please note that the extra days are added onto the original expiry date, and not when the top-up was purchased. For example, an extra 1 Whimit Day will not be able to be purchased if you buy it a week after your pass has expired (you’d need to get 10 Whimit Days in that scenario, if available).

Can I buy a top-up on its own without a pass?

Nah, no can do, sorry! Top-ups are only available for new and existing Whimit Travel Pass customers. For example, you can’t buy 1 Whimit Day on its own.

1. Top-ups are only available for new and existing Whimit Travel Passes, and specifically exclude Commuter Passes

2. Not all top-ups will be available for all Whimit Travel Passes: 1 and 3 Whimit Days are available on all Whimit Travel Passes; 5 Whimit Days are available on all Whimit Travel Passes of 15 Days or more; and 10 Whimit Days are available on all Whimit Travel Passes of 30 Days or more

3. Multiple Whimit top-ups can be purchased on a single pass

4. Whimit top-ups can be purchased even if the pass has expired, but extra days are calculated from the original expiry date and not when the top-up was purchased

5. All standard Greyhound terms and conditions of travel apply.
