Community is a core tenet of Greyhound and has been from the very start, during our humble beginnings in Toowoomba helping the community travel to Brisbane in the midst of a rail strike. It continues to play an important role: as Australia’s only national coach network, we connect regional communities that planes and trains cannot, not only with passenger transport but also through postal and freight deliveries.
We recognise that our services can’t exist without members of the community, and likewise members of the community cannot connect without our services. As such, we recognise our responsibility to support the community through established partnerships, sponsorships, and donations and in-kind support at national, state, and local grassroots levels.
Founded by Gold Logie-winning actor and Victorian Australian of the Year 2018, Samuel Johnson OAM, Love Your Sister is a million-strong village of everyday Aussies committed to vanquishing cancer with hard science and the best new technologies. Love Your Sister supports Precision Medicine for ALL cancer patients, whatever the cancer, regardless of location, age, income, or status. We strive for the right treatment for every cancer patient, first time, every time.
Tour de Cure raises vital funds to support the researchers, surgeons and clinicians who work tirelessly to find a cure for cancer. Through our inspirational events, we not only raise money to fund the boldest research, but we change lives and inspire others to lead fit, healthy and happy lives. We fund the most talented scientists and the ground-breaking projects that we believe will have the biggest impact on curing cancer, and changing lives.
